I had my reversal performed by Dr. Perez on 08/02/02. I had my TL 11/14/95, I regretted it from the moment I singed the papers. We have 2 children, a son, 10 and a daughter, 6.

I felt like I wasn't whole after the TL and I was really depressed. I put the whole idea of a TR on the back burner for a while because my family moved 12 hrs from our home town. After the move and we settled into a routine, I had this nagging feeling to research the possibility of a TR. I had almost decided on another Dr. but I had a feeling it wasn't the right thing to do.

I went to my Pastor and asked him to pray for my family so we would make the correct decision. We prayed together and the next day I just typed in "tubal reversals" in my search engine and came across Dr. Perez.  I couldn't find a lot of info about him but for some reason for the first time in 6 yrs. my heart didn't feel heavy anymore. I just knew he was the right Dr. for me. We live just about 3 hrs from Dr. Perez. I couldn't believe my luck. God was guiding me to find Dr. P. I never had one single moment of doubt about Dr. P.

I called to schedule my surgery without even knowing how I was going to come up with the money. My husband was worried about going to Mexico but he knew it was something I needed to do for myself. I wanted to feel whole again. I called in June to make my Aug. appointment. The way my husband works, we never know from one month to the next how busy he will be. God was watching over us and my husband stayed very busy from the week after I scheduled my surgery until the surgery.

We had never driven in Mexico before so we weren't sure of what to expect. We drove down the night before the surgery and went to see the hospital. The surgery went well. I was very impressed with Dr. P and his staff, especially Levi.  We didn't have the surgery to just have a baby. If that happens then great but its all in God's hands now.
