I remember thinking about the reversal and wondering if this was the right thing for me to do. I was looking on the internet for some reversal doctors. I couldn't find the doctor I was looking for and I got tired of searching. So I said Lord I'm going to leave this up to you. Then I walked away from the computer a few days later I came back and low and behold, the Dr. Perez website was there when I typed in TR doctors. I said, "okay, this is what you want us to do."

We drove from Kansas to Mexico in a 1/4 ton conversion van. We got lost a few times but otherwise we were okay. We found the hospital according to the directions on this site. Bless your soul - they were correct to the "t".

When we arrived we were hot sweaty - but glad to have made it. The nurse called Levy and he said he would be there in 15 minutes. He was very nice. He looked over my reports and said we could do surgery that evening. We got ready and went to surgery around 7:00 pm that evening. My husband was nervous but he held strong. I woke up asking questions and they put me back under. After I made it to the room he told me that they had cut off to much near the uterus; he did reconstructive surgery as best as he could. I also had a cyst they removed. Dr. Perez didn't look to happy to tell me we had a 50-50 chance. I was sad. But hubby said that was okay not to worry about it. My husband was very impressed with the surgery. They want your husband to go with you. They told him everything they were doing to me step by step.  After surgery, hubby slept in the van (the back seat let's out into a bed and of course he had everything in the van, VCR, DVD, and play-station. So we had the majority of the comforts of home in the van). My daughter slept in the room with me.

Levy and Dr. Perez are great people and I'm very thankful for them. I enjoyed my trip. I was thankful that God blessed us there and brought us back. The trip was wonderful. We got stopped by the folks that check because my children left some apples in the ice chest! We just told them they could keep them. You can't bring fruit across the border unless you declare it.

I received the best care and the hospital was wonderful. The nurse's were great. I would do this whole thing again. I don't regret anything that we have done, nor do I question the decision that was made.  Believe me the whole trip was a true blessing and I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. We walked on faith and still do.
