May 2003

Greetings to everyone! I am so blessed to have found this website almost a year ago. I had my reversal on Mar 19, 2003. Flew into McAllen Airport.  The driver was there to pick us up right on time. I was trying to call him on the phone and he was there already paging me at the airport.  Going in to Mexico and leaving was a breeze.  Dr. Perez, Levi, and all the staff at the hospital were so kind and efficient. We had made plans to stay at a hotel in Texas after the surgery, but decided not to after Levi encouraged us to stay at the hospital...I was so glad I did stay!

Luis (Levi's brother) took my fiancé and me out the next day to buy some things, and later that night came back to bring some food for us. I can't express the gratitude I feel for receiving such excellent care. I would also like to say that last month I had been having a lot of abdominal pain, and went through many test, which the doctors could only speculate that my problem might be ovarian cyst. They had given my very strong antibiotics, but I still had no relief of the pain. When I had my surgery Dr. Perez removed 4 cyst two from each ovary.

This is my 4th day post-surgery, and I feel great.  I had no problems at all, even the air plane ride was pleasant. I flew on Continental and they made special provisions for me on my return flight. I am 42 and Dr. Perez said my tube lengths are 5- 6cm each side, and when he injected solution through my tubes both are open. He also stated my ligation was very clean and easy to connect. The cut was right in the middle. I had a pomeroy.

I can not express enough how much I appreciate finding this website. I had the happiest Mother's Day of all.  I've been made whole!
