June 2005

Hi everyone, I started trying to conceive in Jan 2005 and I accomplished it in April 2005.  I am now 9 weeks pregnant and hoping for a boy, but will love a healthy baby no matter what.  I look like I am 4 or 5 months pregnant so I had an internal ultrasound and found 2 muscle tumors in the uterus with the baby.  So I will keep you all informed on how it goes.

Hola Dr. Levi, muchas gracias por nosotros exitos !

Muchas Gracias,
Michelle Martinez
Due date is Jan. 3rd, 2006

September 2004

I got to Rio Bravo late Thursday night and my surgery was scheduled for the 4th, but it was done on the 3rd instead. I met Dr. Levi the morning of my surgery, he was great! I had told them that I did not want to feel my epidural or my catheter, so by the time I got to the operating room all I remember is them telling me to turn on my side, after that I remember waking up back in my room. Sadly I do not ever remember meeting Dr. Perez.

The staff was great and the security officer Martin was really nice. My husband is Mexican and although I am not fluent I had no problems talking with the staff that did not speak English. Nurse Betty was my favorite, even though I liked all of the nurses there. I thank you all for the wonderful work you did on me. The food was great and the hospital was amazingly clean. I wish I could go there to have a baby there. But I live to far for that one. I used Fanny and that was a good experience too. I met another lady from the states and she and I went shopping together in Nuevo Progresso. The pain was not bad outside of the fact that I kept needing to cough, and had a big sneeze; that was very painful.

TIPS: before you get to the hospital get smaller American bills exchanged because the coke and snack machine only takes pesos. Take at least one empty suit case for your shopping goodies. I traveled my trip alone, and I am here to tell you it is a great trip and one that I can say ; you can feel safe about it even if going alone.

Thanks again and I can't wait to be able to add a pregnancy update.

MUCHAS GRACIAS!

Michelle Martinez
