March 2005

I am Bessie Nelson and I had the TR done in 3-19-05. It was schedule for 3-18-05 but I arrived so late from Mississippi that Dr. Levi rescheduled for first thing the next morning.  I was just happy I was finally going to have the surgery. I was a little nervous but Levi took me in to speak with a lady who had just had the surgery the day before and she was fine. I was so shocked that it went so well.  I never knew I had an epidural (1st one) and I didn't know I had a catheter either but Levi and Fannie were wonderful and I will never forget how they kept my husband informed while I was there ( he called almost every 3 hours or so).

Everything went just as the others had said smooth sailing . This was the first time I have been a long distant without any family near. I thank God for Fannie she took good care of me while I was there.  I could not remember if I was awake for the surgery or asleep, but I remember hearing some one say you have big beautiful ovaries I was hoping they were okay since I had a TL 12-11-96.

And just like everyone said the hospital was very clean and the staff was very polite ( I don't speak any thing but English) even though the nurse had to make me understand her.

Overall it was very exciting.  I had my HSG done 7-05 and the Dr. said whoever did the surgery had done an excellent job.  They were so amazed (the hospital staff in Ms) about the way I was stitched up. it took a nurse of 32 years to come in and remove it and the stitches left  NO SCAR my husband said are you sure you had the surgery? I laughed.

Well to wrap it up I have 7cm on both sides and now I am just waiting on God to make me a happier mom.
