I got a chance to me some of the ladies that I have been chatting with, everybody I meet was great. We all greeted each other like we were old friends. I love the new family that I have made. I would like all the ladies for this weekend to keep me informed on how you are doing and I will do the same.

OK HERE'S MY TRIP!!

I made it to McAllen Friday afternoon, Marcos picked us up from the airport and we were on our way to the hospital. When we made it there I was a nervous wreck, my brother in law tried to calm me the best he could. I'm terrified of needles and have small veins. I was not a good patient to try to put an IV in, but Dr. Levi reassured me it was all going to be ok. I went in to have my surgery around 6:00 I think, all I remember was they told me it was going to be later then about 30-45 minutes later they were taking me back.

I didn't feel a thing during or after surgery. They let me listen to my iPod during surgery and even helped me change the songs when I couldn’t. The music distracted me and I even snoozed for a few minutes.

Dr. Levi and the nurses were fantastic and the food was great. The hospital was so clean!!! I think the emptied the trash about every half hour. The next morning around 11:00 they removed my IV and Epidural. I could then get up and walk around and shower. Barbara came in and said hello, she looked great. I couldn’t believe she already had her surgery. I was in mild pain. I took a walk to check out the neighborhood, it was such a pretty day.

Marcos took us to a hotel in McAllen that was really good. They had shuttle service so I got to go to the mall and out to dinner, then they took us to the airport for our flight out on Sunday.

Good luck to all who are taking this trip in the future. It was a wonderful experience and I would recommend the doctors and staff to anybody looking to have the procedure done.
