February 2007

I had a HSG (Hysterosalpingogram) done as Dr. Levi suggested to see if my tubes were open after the surgery and come to find out that my left side is open and my right side is closed. In which, that is okay due to the doctor had told me that I only needed one tube to be able to get pregnant, and til this day I am not pregnant but we are still trying.

We have a lot of thing happening in our lives right now including getting married June 16th. I will keep you guys posted as my friend Rebecca had her surgery on Nov 3rd and she called me yesterday to tell me that she is pregnant.  So hopefully I will follow right behind her.

October 2006

My name is Anita Garcia from Dallas Texas. I just wanted to share my experience with the people who are hesitant about going to Mexico for any type of surgery. I was scared too at first, I did a lot of investigating. And everything turned out to be okay.

I flew to McAllen the morning of October 7th, I arrived at the airport at 10:35 - the shuttle (Expedition) was there waiting for us, the driver - a wonderful nice lady transported us to Mexico - she even took us to the store first to buy cameras. She took us to the hospital and they took us right in and put us in a room. Dr. Levi came in and asked questions and explained everything and was real caring about any issues I had. I went into surgery around 2:00 PM and was finished around 3:30 - the doctor came in later and checked on me and explained what he had found during the surgery. I was only supposed to have had my tubes tied and then to find out from the doctor that they were cut, tied and burned - but the good thing is that I had 7 cm on both sides and he was able to connect them back and he told me they were ok and open. I was excited. I was not able to get up out of bed for 24 hours.

I woke up the next morning, ate breakfast and took a shower and I felt great - I was up walking around talking to the other patients that had the same surgery - I even walked 2 blocks to the store with my sister to try and find some souvenirs.  Well then we checked out of the hospital and paid and then the lady took us back to McAllen to the Fairfield Hotel due to my flight was not leaving til Mon and we flew back on Monday and I feel great.

The staff and everyone was just so SWEET and NICE - if I had to do it all over again - I WOULD. Now I am just waiting to start the addition to my family - I have about a month left and I will keep y'all posted.

And yes the cross is in the surgery room..

All I have to say about everything was - EVERYTHING WAS GREAT!!!!! I have recommended more friends and people.

Good Luck to everyone.
