Welcome
Andrew Joseph Lisboa
On May 9, 2008 our beautiful baby boy was born. He weighed 7lbs. 4
ozs. and was 21 inches long. What a wonderful blessing.
We are so grateful to God and to the staff at Rio Bravo.

May 2007
My name is Ruthie Lisboa, and my husband Aurelio and I went drove
down to Rio Bravo from Missouri where we live to get my tubal
reversal. This was one of the best decisions we have ever made. We
know that the Lord led us to Rio Bravo. After researching a lot of
other places and reading all I could get my hands on about
reversals, the Lord opened the doors so that we could go there. We
were treated very kind there. We were a little nervous about the
whole thing, but decided that if God had brought us this far He
surely wouldn't let us down now.
I was scheduled for surgery on the 3rd of April, but arrived on the
2nd of April probably around 2:00pm. I decided not to eat because I
had read in the testimonials that a lot of the women didn't eat and
they were able to do the surgery a little earlier. That was the case
with me. I was very happy about this.
Everything everyone said was exactly right. The small hospital
looked and smelled very clean. I had read about how kind Dr. Levi is
and how he makes you feel very comfortable. This was totally true.
By 5:30 pm I was out of surgery. It only took about 1 1/2 hrs. It
was great! I didn't feel when they put that dreaded epidural in my
back. I actually fell asleep right after they put a sedative in my
IV, and when I woke up, my husband said, "Ruthie, they are almost
done." I was totally surprised because I thought they had just
started.
There was something that I wasn't told, and that was that the
anesthesiologist Dr. Moreno was so good at what he does. He
made me feel very comfortable. I can't say enough about him. I have
had 3 c-sections and I've had epidurals with each one, and I can
tell you that this one beats all of them. I was very blessed!
The next day they removed the catheter and the IV, and we were on
our way home.
In 1993, I made the one of the worst mistakes in my life, I had the
tubal ligation. 14 years later the Lord gave me the opportunity to
make things right. I know that all that night after the surgery, I
just smiled and was just so happy, because for the first time in 14
yrs I can say, "I am whole!"
Isn't God wonderful? Yes, He is!
It has been 9 1/2 weeks since my surgery. And now it is up to the
Lord if He decides to open my womb. I can't wait to see what He
does. I know whatever it is, it will be the best.
I highly recommend Dr. Perez. I wouldn't go any other way. Thank you
Rio Bravo team! Keep up the good work of restoring peoples lives.
May God bless you all.
