Dr. Perez and staff, I would like to thank You from the bottom of my heart. I am now 34 weeks pregnant with a baby girl.

I had my reversal done March 9, 2008. I trusted in you and God to fulfill me and my husbands wishes to have a baby. I am a mother of 3, ages 17, 14 and 13. 12 years ago I was going through a messy divorce and I was quite sure I didn't want any more children. But I met a wonderful man who was definitely sent from God, He is a wonderful father to my children but he hadn't any of his own.

Anyone considering to have a reversal should trust and believe in the wonderful care your facility provides. At first I was nervous, but we both thought what was the worse that could happen? Either my tubes would connect and stay open to conceive or not! So we planned for our trip. I scheduled to have the shuttle pick my husband and I up from Mc Allen airport, the shuttle arrived promptly after our flight. The distance from the airport to the hospital was around 20 minutes tops. I prepared myself before my flight to not have eaten anything just in case it was possible I could my reversal that night, I was so happy I did that because when I arrived I was admitted and once I filled out my paperwork, we were shown to our room and I was given a gown to change into. 15 minutes later my blood was drawn and I was started with an IV. Shortly after that I was wheeled to the OR room and an epidural was inserted. All I remember was waking up during surgery (without any pain) talking to the doctors thanking them for the procedure. What seemed to be minutes later I was transferred back to my room to recover. My husband was by my side during the entire surgery.

I recommend for the flight back to request wheelchair assistance when you book your flight. I was a little sore. If you ever have doubts about ANY surgery or ANY Doctors, Do your research first! BUT I can ASSURE you that I have done my research and this was a very rewarding surgery I would do all over in a heartbeat. I would like to thank all of Dr. Perez's staff, I could go on and on about the great experience my husband and I shared! Our baby girl is due August 14, 2009.
